About the Director
Sharon Owen, Director of Musical Milestones, Inc.
Sharon’s 32 years of experience in the field of music include a degree in Music Education from University of Louisville, 16 years as Kindermusik educator, 20 years as a private piano instructor, 10 years as a children’s choir director, seven years of service as a faculty member of the training institute of Kindermusik International , and a seminar instructor in music education workshops for pre-school educators. Sharon was one of the first five Kindermusik educators to earn the certification of Master Teacher. In addition to her Musical Milestones classes, she also teaches at the Louisville Collegiate School in the Junior Kindergarten department.
